The T-34 orders will go out Friday.

The T-23 turret with dozer blade full build will start tomorrow. All the parts have been made.

The Pavehawk kit full build will start as well. All the parts have been poured and have been waiting to proceed :D

Hopefully I will get these projects done this weekend so I will get back on the Horten.

I have not forgotten about the Sdkfz 222 full build. I will make it a point to try and work on that project. every day until I get it done. The hull has been glued and filled a couple of times and all of the parts have been poured.

I have been busy busy busy.

Shipping has increased to ship abroad. The post office no longer offers parcel post shipping.

Priority only

At least to Italy . The shipping has doubled. That sucks for you guys overseas.

I have a big box building to ship out to Germany . I hate to see the cost of that

have you tried First Class Mail International? These kits should be small enough to qualify....that is still available to Canada so i imagine it's the same for elsewhere...

What Aferg said.
Any package that is 4 lbs. and under, with the package dimensions 36 inches or under (width + length + tall) qualifies for USPS First Class International to most countries.

I can't afford any of your nice kits, but my 2 cents.

I am done this week with my real job. next week will almost be full as well.
I will work through the weekend to try and get caught up with my orders.

M-10 full build almost done about 95%
Wirblewind parts are poured
M-3 halftrack the parts have been poured

Pavey parts all poured need to work on those nose sensors.

Indy side cars . I tried to make one more pour and all the moulds disintegrated almost like they were choreographed to do so. So I need to remake about half of the moulds.

Humvee, I still need to remake that turret mould

US half track. Still need to make those wheel moulds.

Sdkfz 222 half of the kit has been poured
T-34/85 nothing yet

Charlie your 222 body is done and I think that I have all of the parts poured.

At least a full week and maybe two . Then I can get back on the 229.

I WILL TAKE OFF FOR FATHERS DAY. At least I will work on something for myself.

A customer of mine sent me his panzer a few weeks ago and I finally pulled it out of the box.

I shudder to think if this would have happened if I was the one who shipped a finished model

i had that happen to every single wheel on one of my panzer iv's. I was trying tor pull the turret off (an r/c one) and i pushed down on the hull and every wheel blew off. What a mess to fix.

The broken fenders are strange. I don't get how that could have happend without there being more damage to the tank intself. Best bet is to glue, sand and if still noticalbe seams, cover with dirt/grime or stowage. However, i'm speaking to the master...i'm sure you'll be able to make a seamless fix.

Well I have some orders done. This about all I have ready to ship out.

Other than the M-10 and M-3 nothing has changed since my last up date. I will work the long weekend to try and catch up on my back orders.

Then it is back to the Horten with fingers crossed.

Thanks guys for the patience.

Why does everything happen at the same time ? :?

Alex of Florida please call me about your T-34/85 and Sdkfz 222.

I lost your telephone #

BTW ,

Alex got the last 222 for a while . The moulds are the worst for ware.

Charlie I will get to your 222. ALL THE PARTS HAVE BEEN MADE.

I will work on your 222 along with Kerry's Wirble wind.

Then I need to remake the Indy side car's moulds.

Then you know what 229 time.

But I really need to catch up on these back orders before I get a chance to make the moulds for the parts.

I'm in for doing a DAP blackhawk whenever the pieces become available. So, will need:
"crab eye" sensors
tail sensors
Fuel Probe
Window Inserts
M-134 miniguns
FLIR center under nose
Radome center mounted version
new winglets (to be done in future hopefully)
M230 chain gun
Hellfire/rocket pod
I would also be in for any other add ons if you make them (lots of antennae and other little bits and pieces).

You know I'm serious as I've bought from you before and already chipped in a 1/35 DAP kit for the cause.
I'll be waiting when the time comes.

All right guys, It seems that I have had a lot overseas dealings here lately.

I do not want to have the fiasco that I had with Exther Megas get well package.

I usually put full insurance on the packages so if it is damaged or lost the contents are covered.

But this plays hell with you guys custom officials.

So what do you overseas guys want to do ? Put the FULL value on the insurance or go something like $20 worth of value to keep the customs gendarmes at bay ?

Let me know as soon as possible because I am going to the post office tomorrow morning.

Think it is up to the individual, PH.

I believe different countries have different Customs rates as well. If you have a high Customs rate, best to undervalue the package, as the savings will be substantial. With lower Customs rates, bit more of a risk.

And I think different countries have different postal delivery "standards". Care of delivery, packages actually being delivered, etc.

I am in Canada, and have never had an issue with a missing, or even damaged package. My Customs rate is 12%, with a $8 "handling" fee, if these charges are applied. If possible, I always like to have the package undervalued. $50 will fly under the radar of the Customs officials.

But if you undervalue, if something does go wrong, you will only get the insured value. So it is a bit of a risk.

I've got 2 sendings from PH and Pizzaguy, but these were small kits with declared value and I had nothing to pay to the swiss border. I think that a standart value for insurance and border of 20 $ is a good compromise for these small kits. I've made many purchases from USA, England, South-East Asia through eBay, and nether had anything lost (but some time long delivery delay). Swiss Post Office is safe.

So, PH, still on for the Pave Hawk sensors.

In my country (TH), as long as it is insured package with tracking number, it is difficult that package will lost. Especially if the seller file report to USPS asap once buyer report to seller the possible package lost, the postal customs office here will working to find out for you. For Import customs duty some time is base on your luck as well (sometime paid but sometime not) but the rule is import customs duty apply when the value is over US$33. Postal service for tracking the package status also link with USPS and you can see the status since USPS accept the package until I already receive the package at my country Post office.

I never had an issue of missing package. Only two times that one of my package wrongly sent to Europe and another one to Malaysia due to error from USPS but finally I got it and also lucky that I do not need to pay import duty and tax too :)

For me, declare under value is not necessary and issue of I will get only insured value if the package lost.(I will decide to do only case by case basis). Well package to prevent damage for the item inside shipping box is important for me.

Waiting for my UH-60 ARMY BLACK HAWK sensors/FLIR/etc pre-painted order set.

Hey Guys,

Just a heads up on resin kits. You need to build them or take them out of their bags.

When I kit my parts I usually just throw the parts in a zip lock and send them out.

IF YOUR PARTS STAY LIKE THIS THEY VERY WELL CAN WARP. ESPSECIALLY THE LONG PARTS.

So wen you all get the kits you should sand off the stubs and place/ store them on a flat surface.

Also never put anything on a built resin kit. IT MAY GET SQUACHED .

Resin is an unstable product. It should stay in a climate controlled enviroment.

No not store your kits/ models in direct sun light or store in a attic.
