This is going to really hurt the other etailers, even our friendly ones. With stock levels being so high and board members spending upwards of a $1000, no one will have any money left to buy anything else for months. If they even have wife left and room to store it, I can't see any of us buying anything but brand new molds. It's sad to see 21st fall, but it will be even worse to see them take the smaller etailers with them.

Now where are those choppers, migs and green 262?

Why do I feel the compulsive need to keep refreshing MD's site and fear going to sleep right now (even though I've been up since 7am on Thur) because I might miss something?

>>> @ any rate ,.. MD didn't offer their Blammo ! , deal on the 88 for multi-quantities of 2 or more , like they do w/ most of their other stuff currently on $ale , for some odd reason. :?

Heck, If I was another etailer and have the capital to spend, I'd have cleaned out MD's 1/18th inventory, and then wait a few months and sell them like my kids' college funds depends on them!

Think these would qualify for "Private Reserve"? :P

Who is to say a e-tailor hasn't bought a bunch of stuff?
Could not think of anything to put here.

These prices will not last for long. The other e-stores may feel the pinch for a little bit but if this is the last big push of XD then the prices will all rise soon enough. Don’t forget we aren’t the only ones who frequent these online stores. Many people don’t even know Monkey Depot exists. If it wasn’t for this forum I wouldn’t have had a clue!

And soon enough, MD's stock will be gone and people who may have jumped into the 1/18th arena because of killer prices will find themselves wanting to add to their collections. And for that, they will be paying normal retail prices. How many of us started down the XD path due to a clearance sale at TRU or WM? And here we sit, with our second wives and second mortgages, still hooked

Missed the 88 damnitt!
Maybe next time.
Did manage to get the ME-262 Night Fighter, that I missed last time because I ordered something else that turned out to be out of stock.
You never know when something might reappear, so I keep checking everyday for those choice buys.

The Med Stuka and Bunker Hill Corsair reappeared. Already have those though.

Same here - but the Panthers I ordered Tuesday and the Me-262 from last night still say "Processing". I figured they would combine orders, but maybe they are just working their way through piles...

Well, broke down and ordered a Panther for under $40 including the shipping. I may just have to get the 88 for a repaint as one cannot beat the price
