Time for a Kettenkrad

Post by MG-42 » Sun Aug 12, 2007 7:32 am

Now that the new Me-262 is out , we need something to tow it with.

..... and not just for towing aircraft onto flightlines either.

Whad'ya say boys ?

>>> Thought I'd turn this into a poll since there are some who might have different opinions.

Let's just say :

What if 21st. did something like this ?

I certainly think that more guys than propeller heads would buy them. I know I want one for my 262. Then figure how many guys want them for regular ground pounding action. I wonder why they have yet to produce one.

How about packaging a Kett with a trailer as 21C did with their 1/6 Kett?

or

How about packaging a Kett with one of the many light anti-tank guns their did tow around, that way either the trailer or the gun can be used in airport defence in your dios while the Kett is towing your Gerry planes??

That way us guys without constant planes on the brain would be interested....

Too cool or what?? 8)

These are what I would like to see made the Schwimmwagen, Kubelwagen, KS750 Zundapp Side Car Kettenkrad plus a German Sd. Kfz. 7/2 Half-track with a working hitch, make it so you can make a ton of variations with it. package them with accessories and extra equipment. and there are so many zariants that could be made from those vehicle.
one more item I would liek to see made are the opel blitz truck.

I think some of the smaller items on my list could be packaged together also. It would save on shipping fees. At least you would think it would.

Being a (MOSTLY) airplane fan, what a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be a great addition to the already-exiting Me 262's and IF they ever come out with the Me-163, WHAT A DEAL!!

Good work MG42.

dV

BTW, for you Vehicle (only) guys, here is a rendition of the Me-163 Komet:

If they ever do a legend version of the Me-262, I bet they will include Kettenkrad with it.

Btw any one hear any more news on the pappy’s corsair, with all the ground personal?

It's too late to package with the 262's so it should go with the Me 163 :D

I think the 163 and Kettenkrad combo would be a perfect pick for AT to do.

Dang! This is a great idea. I personally would like to see them loose so I can buy some for my pre-existing planes but these things are great for all kinds of other stuff.
