BBI Zero

Post by Fitzystigertank » Tue Aug 07, 2007 2:22 pm

I was in Target today and noticed in the back of the BBI boxes that they show the Green Zero. Is or will Target sell this plane. my corsair has nothing to fight against. Does anyone have this plane and is it worth having??

The back of the box shows every vehicle and aircraft that BBI has produced. All their boxes do, whether you get them at Target, Toys R Us, or a small retailer. To answer your question, though, there is no telling and it would have to depend on how well the current products do at Target. (A BBI Zero for $25-$30 would be cool, however  )

As for the plane itself, it is certainly worth getting!! It is very well detailed and has one of the best cockpits of any 1:18 plane to date. It looks completely like the real thing and is removable. All the control surfaces move, landing gear retract, and the tail-hook operates. There are two versions: the S1 "Peral Harbor" version (which was a BadCat exclusive) and the S2 "Green" version. Both are getting harder to find at the moment. Some small retailers may still have the Green Zero, or you can try ebay or this board...

consolidated merchandising (link on 21c site in the where to buy) still shows the green Zero on their BBi 1/18 page.

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!
