Almost perfect

Post by Sabrefan » Sat Jun 30, 2007 5:29 pm

I went by Walmart this afternoon, and I was quite happy to see a stack of four Tiger Meet F-104s there. I picked one up, and put it together about an hour ago. What a great looking model, and mine has a top notch paint job. I took it outside to take some pictures of it, and I noticed it is missing the outside fin on the right wing tank. I checked the box, and looked everywhere, but there is no fin to be found. Anyone know where I can find an outside wingtank fin? It looks like it was never put on the wing tank.

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game. :)

You could return it, citing that it is missing a part, or go get another F-104, take the wing tank, and then return that, again citing the missing part

You know to be honest I never thought about returning the plane. I really tore the box all up looking in every possible place in the box for the missing tank fin. It really is a beautiful model, I hope I can get the part.

I've had good luck with 21st Century support (by phone). Give them a call and they should be able to send you one. It's not always fast, but my experience has been that they say they are going to send you something, it does eventually arrive.
