POST ALL 21st CENTURY WALMART FINDS HERE
For all those who haven't found the artillery spotter yet, I noticed that Bad Cat has them on their website for $6.99. A little bit more than the $4.97 price at WM but at least you''ll save some time hunting around WM's only to come up empty. In fact, Bad Cat has available 13 out of the 18 new D-Day figures.

I found two BBD P-51s at the Sanger, Ca. Wal Mart
First of the new Mustangs I've seen in my area. This particular store just opened two weeks ago and is about 20 miles from my address, but still close enough to consider as being in my area. It also has the best selection of all 7 local stores. All the other stores in the Fresno area proper have little to show, save for one that has some Chinese Migs and an F-104.

Brea, Ca....
The Walmart in Brea has two BBD P-51's, 1 Pearl Harbor P-40 and about 9 Huff F-86's. Still no sign of any Russian Migs. Has anybody in SoCal seen these planes????

Re: Brea, Ca....
I have seen Chinese Migs in the Santa Clarita (Valencia) Wal Mart to the north of you a few weeks ago. Even further north in the Fresno area, one store has Chinese Migs and another two BBD P-51s. However, outside of the Fresno Hobbytown USA store and the Hobbypeople store near you in Chino, I've not seen any Russian Migs...Helo Driver wrote:The Walmart in Brea has two BBD P-51's, 1 Pearl Harbor P-40 and about 9 Huff F-86's. On a whim, I made a run to Kalamazoo to see if they had anything new at the K-zoo area Walmarts, Target, and TRU.
TRU and Target were both about what I suspected: no new bbi or FOV at TRU, and still no bbi sightings at Target, but they did have a better 1/72 and 1/32 FOV selection than I have seen in a while.
What I found at WM was interesting, though. First, I went to the Shaver Road (Portage) WM and found a Chinese Mig, a Mitch's Squitch, 8 BBDs, and 6 Huffs. I also found 2 of the 4 new 1/32 playsets (Battle in the Hedgerows and Assault on Bastogne). And I found several series 1 Marines and about 6 BOTB 1 figures
Then I went to the West Main (M43) WM, where I found 8 Old Crows, a Huff, a couple 1/32 Bf-109s, and several old figures, such as the Stuka Gunner, MB Driver, Ardennes Tanker, and other BOTB 1 and BOTB 2 figures
Where are these ancient figures coming from? Last time I was in either WM, they had either no figures or D-Day figures. Now I am going to start watching--maybe an old Panther, Spitfire, or winter Stuka may show up!

Thanks to a helpful stock person in the toy Dept at my local WM, I was able to find the Tiger F-104, and the Silver one too. They only had 1 Mig 15 on shelf so I asked if they had received any other planes and she checked and I was lucky that day. This WM is in Round Rock but closer to Forest Creek. It doesn't look like they stock much XD on shelves of any scale except some older figures and 144 planes. I haven't seen any 1/32 planes there at all. Mostly just Transformer and Spiderman stuff.

I spotted a number of F-86 Huffs, a few silver F-104s, and the very nice looking Canadian Tiger Stripe F-104s. This was the best aircraft selection at this WM in quite some time! Oh, and the Pearl Harbor P-40s.

I was at a local walmart today and wouldn't you know it........ I found myself in the toy section, I hate when that happens.
Any how this Mom and her two little kids walk past me and they're going I want that and that; So Mom hands one kid a fire truck and for the other she says "oh look at this" and picks up a box... I'm thinking its a 32X King Tiger!!!!!!!
and off they go. Now thats one cool Mom.
I wounder if she's the one who has been taking all the German XD figures.

Stopped by the Atlantic Blvd Walmart in Pompano Beach Saturday morning. I scored 2 more DAK bubbas. The newest additions were the BBD and Old Crow Mustangs.
Question about the Old Crow. Wasn't that plane supposed to have nose art on both sides? If so, I'm surprised 21C made the same mistake BBI did; and how many months later?

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

I love the new Wal Mart in Sanger, Ca!! As of today it had 12 BBD P-51s, 4 F-104s, and a "Huff" F-86, plus a variety of 1:18 figures.
Not to mention several carded and boxed 32x playsets (old ones), 32x P-51B/Cs, 32x armor, 1:48 armor & planes, and the 1:144 armor and planes.
Truly, the best all-round selection of 21c stuff in my entire area

Yep. The Mustang was supposed to have the Old Crow name on both sides. And I have no idea how the mistake was made. That being said Bad Cat Toys is offering the Old Crow Decal to fix that error.flpickupman wrote:Stopped by the Atlantic Blvd Walmart in Pompano Beach Saturday morning. I scored 2 more DAK bubbas. It is nice, especially when a Wal Mart that is reasonably close to you gets in a large bunch of 21c planes
As described in my previous post, seeing 12 of one type of 21c aircraft in one spot had never happened to me before! All the time hearing about other boardmembers finding tons of 1:18 planes, only to have perhaps two on the shelves (if any at all) at one of my local stores was just too damn annoying! That changed a little this summer and a I got a chance to find a near-perfect BBD P-51 that looks amazing!
Now the 32x planes are another story - All my 7 local Wal Marts have put out varying amounts of the new 32x P-51B/Cs, as they usually seem to do
