Well it is a nice plane indeed. I am impressed to see the flaps and looks like a rudder and elevators. The gear look pretty good. I would say this plane exceeds my expectations. Much improved over the 5 year old mustang 21st did. (BBI fans close your ears now). This level of detail is on par to the tooling 21st was doing 1 - 2 years ago. This new 109 from 21st has been promised to be the new benchmark in tooling. Now I haven't seen one in person yet, and I might have my hopes set too high. but if the rumours are true and this new 109 offering sets a higher standard..... Look for a far superior mustang from 21st in the comming year. I already have enough of the inferior mustangs I don't need to add to the problem. Nice plane from BBI but I think in the end it too won't be enough to hold the crown of best 1:18 scale mustang ever! To summarize, It is a nice victory for BBI but it will be short lived. -Should have done a hellcat, wildcat, zero, typhoon, me110, airacobra, or ooohhhh a B-25! anything that hasn't already been or planning to be done. Nice Blue Angle F-18 though! They should have stuck to the plan of making something new that you can't get from anyone else. I rest my case with the F-18's and 16's where else you gonna go to get one?

BBI fans don't get too mad. just MHO. Just to show I am not a BBI basher, They did get me to shell out money for 2 f-18's and a couple F-16's.... just no mustangs this time around.

Hi guys. There's a discussion going on about the BBI P51 in the 'bbi WWII Figures!!' thread. To reduce board clutter i'm going to lock this thread.

Please make follow up posts on this topic in the above mentioned thread.

Groovy.
