I found something interesting at a local garage sale Sunday. It looks like a
Japanese naval gun on a pedistal mount for use in static beach defense.
It is completely made of steel turned on a lathe by a machine shop.It has about 35 peices and looks to be about 4.5" or 5 "gun.I may try to build an emplacement around it.As soon as I figure out how to post pictures,I'll post them here.

XD Campfire Stories
(said holding a flashlight to my face)
Once there was this time I walked into a Wal Mart... The staff were all friendly, and yes, helpful... I walk into the toy section and find a whole isle of XD products from the 1:6 Stuart to all the variants of the planes and armor currently released... but then panic took over my sense of joy as I realized this couldn't be reality, but some other parallel dimension... AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!
