I'm new here and have been lurking for a while just enjoying the info and pics on here. I wanted to say just how much I like the 21st Century planes. My son bought me a Corsair a couple of years ago and my "air force" has expanded greatly since then. I like the way I can use my 1/18 diecast cars when I shoot pics of the planes and, since I work in at least 1/25 scale, I really like the larger planes and the extra details.
I'll admit that only having to add the wings and tail planes has made me a little lazy but at least I get something finished for a change. Hope ya'll enjoy this picture of my newest "rum runner" at my hidden field way back in the mountains away from the prying eyes of the "T"-men. I think the change over from high powered cars to high flying jets will be a good thing. LOL

Hey Luke,
Welcome onboard. Cool fotos. Could you do that for me on a Tiger Tank! I don't think that I could fit in the copula though.

Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller

Thanks for the warm welcome ya'll. And pickelhaube, if I can get my 6'3" ex-cop buddy in this AMT 1/25 '56 Ford then getting you in a tank ain't gonna be any trouble at all. LOL

Sure, I've got to get some sleep so I can work tomorrow but I'll get to it as soon as I can tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime, I need to make one more run with the old "pony" and then I'm out'a here for tonight.
Just send it to

Aw shucks, that ain't nothin'. What about some drivers, battle damage, tire smoke and a little speed blur?
I'm working on a takeoff roll for my P-51 that'll really get your attention, are the inner gear doors supposed to be up or down at rotation?
