The Kepfords showed up here in the East Coast, but no Bubbletops. Those have been found at WM elsewhere...........

Pleasanton, CA WM has 4 FW 190 in 21st boxes. 2 of them were the black chevron. The other 2 I couldn't ID them. :D

Walmarts around here are in clearance mode. A buddy bought a Me109 for $20 and got me two M113s for the same price. This morning, the Walmart that NEVER does clearance had one Sherman in a totaled box for $7. And they had the new FWs, but at the regular price.

Pleasanton, CA WM must have been clearing out their M113 stock. I picked up the last one they had for $20. Sure wish they had more of them. :(

In SW MO we're covered up with the S1 Bubbletops and they are generally pretty nice. I just sent centone one in a trade and he was pretty pleased with it. Maybe they were "pre-sh**" QC planes...

Was at the Pleasanton WM today and saw the new 1/32 scale planes. They had the ME-109 tropical, the P-51 and the ME-262. They were on the top shelf so I couldn't get a good look at them but from what I saw they looked pretty cool.

After scouring the way-out-of-the way Walmarts, I came across one of the largest XD collections I have ever seen in a Walmart.. This Walmart had 12 or more P-47 Razorbacks (Pegs and Donnies), 6 or more Fw-190s (Red bottom, Michalski), some Bubbletop P-47s and a Black1 Fw-190..
I was just surprised because I have never seen so many planes at one Walmart..

Must have been the Sand Springs Wal Mart. They were still loaded up on P47's and cobras last time I was through there.

Walmart drives me CRAZY! There are several in this area. I have 2 close by and about 3 others farther out. Well, one of the farther out WM I checked and found they had clearanced all the XD stuff like last week! I missed it! I was only able to snag a M2 Bradley for 15.00. Everything else was gone...
Too little too late.
On the bright side, I found 2 WC57 Patton command cars for under 7 bucks each. They are in smashed boxes, but all in tacked. Wahoo!

I was just at the Pleasanton WalMart and they had the following:

FW 190-D
(4) New NO.12 versions looked very cool and I was very tempted
(4) Chevron's

And as IMMEWW2 had said yesterday...one each of the 1:32

ME 109 Tropical
ME 262 No.7
P51- Big Beautiful Doll
and they all looked pretty cool too!

The Camden Walmart here in Dover, DE sold smack right out of those 1:6 Jeeps and Kubelwagens! I mean, they left within a week. I must have a 1:6 collecting fiend here locally. Now that is quick!

All Gallands and Kepfords are gone from all stores, so they sold well. Just a ragtag Candy Stripe 190 and a Cobra is all that is on the shelf. The last M113 sold for $5 on clearance last week. I wait with baited breath of what comes next........

Just did recon in my area:

all 190 D9's

2 Black Chevrons
2 Blue 12's

I bought the better of the 2 blue 12's and that brings my total to.... 49 planes!
Now the question is who gets to be lucky number 50? I am running out of room and I don't even care!

I'm impressed. I went to the Milford Walmart (about 20 minutes South of Dover) and found a single Black 12 and Chevron 190. I was surprised to see them here!!!! I picked up Black 12 and I already traded for the Chevron 190. We may very well be slipping out of the distribution bonds. Black 12 is definatley my favorite 190 of them all............

They also had the 1:48 Little Bird and Humvees. Definatley NOT my scale......
