I don't really collect the bbi stuff, but I do have the Abrams, Super Humvee, Black Hawk, Kiowa and weapons packs. I was wondering about the articulation of the figures arms. What figures have the new hinge elbow joints? The only one I have is the driver from the Super Humvee. Are there any carded figures with the new joints?
How is bbi with getting replacemnet parts for there porducts? Has anyone had to have them mail you replacement parts?
Also I was wondering how many head sculpts (without hats and hoods molded on) they have? I know the used the Black Hawk pilot's head carded and not for both the white and black versions, so I figure they do that with other as well. I want to get some of them for head swaps, but I don't want the same heads. Thanks for any help.

Currently, there are no carded figures with the new joints. The WWII figures we saw pictures of from the toy fair have the new joints, but these have not yet been released. As of now, only the Pilots for the F-18, F-16, P-51 and the drivers for the Sherman and super hummer have the new joints.
I have heard from other board members that BBI seems to be pretty good at providing replacement parts for figures and perhaps vehicles, but have not tried it myself.
I'm only guessing, currently having only three of about 30 of my BBI figures presently with me at school (the rest are at home), but deducing from pictures on the BBI website, I think there may be as many as 10-12 different head sculpts: 5 seperate ones for the origional desert ops troops, 3-4 for the Marines, and then the Pilot figures. Perhaps someone else can elaborate... Either way, there are enough different heads to do your head-switching project with the pilots!
Hope this helps.

There's 6 for the SWAT figures ALONE... (2 of those are reused in the and the navy seals). The new Navy SEALS are the same as their 1st issue released along side the SWAT figures. The 1st issue Army Spec Forces differ from the mainstream TRU release of those guys though in that there's 3 new heads for 5 figures).
The Army Spec forces then have 3 new heads for them (some reused on other figs)
Really I'd have to sit and look that one over... They have a LOT of headsculpts though Momaw... Plus I think one or two are repainted as different ethnicities too.
