Old command car ?

Post by tankduel » Thu Feb 03, 2005 5:25 pm

There is a hinged 'box' on the passenger side behind the MG mount.

Is it
A a folding step,in which case it does not fold all the way
B a storage compartment when closed
C a platform for the MG operator to stand

My guess is C

I'll go with E  it was the battery box cover.

"E" is correct. Normandy gets the cupie dollie.

It took a 12V battery and when there was a radio in the CC the battery was a huge 12 volt battery like a bus battery. I had priced a battery with correct deminsions and it was hugely expensive. I went with a Die Hard. It started every time.

And I was using it (on the 21c variant) as an ammo storage compartment... Credit to 21c for at least incorporating the part on it!
