They parachuted behind enemy lines & landed on to a Pak40 halftrack, which they managed to capture & have taken it with them into hiding.

A while back at the Comic Con (I believe), the release date was February 2007. What is going on? Where is our liason when we need him?

I say keep your eyes open. Jan. and Feb. are terrible to hunt at TRU. By mid-March, they start getting more shipments. Went there yesterday and found a few of the new SW clones, and the shelves weren't looking so barren. Also, they've said their shipments per week are increasing. I'm guessing someone in the next two weeks will find these guys.

Funny - I contacted BBI and they said they were no longer doing military - the market is Smurfs now and cars with big tires.

Plus the Smurfs will be jump ready as TRU wants more parachutes!!!

Yeah, but the new Smurfette is supposed to be smoking hot!

Must admit I`ll be wanting the British Para though just ashame they did the JUMP Only version of him. Makes this ONE WWII British soldier rather tied to one particualr type of dio/play.
Would have been wonderfull if they had done a JUMP with chute & a on ground combat Red Devil too.
who know`s maybe this is the beginning of more, dare I say a Arnhem boxed set too?

BBI GUYS

Post by digger » Fri Mar 16, 2007 11:04 am

I hear you Ja, but I'm hoping we didn't see everything that is due. BBI often shows guys that never come out, and sometimes never previews those that due. You'd have to think that after tooling some of the Brit weapons it would be in their interest to release some guys w/o chutes. I personally cannot wait for the next wave of bbi guys and I am with Morian in saying they should be here soon. Or at least I'm wishing 8)

I'd love some Brits and other troops without the damn chutes but I'd be happy to see any of the new figures in my AO. Sadly I never saw the majority of the last series, so I'm not very hopeful.

I haven't seen any in my AO so far.

Regarding the chutes.....I just "yank" the chutes out and let the diorama do the rest....a little yellow is not going to kill anyone.....perhaps the guys just can not swim and he wears the lifejacket as a precaution...

I want those figures and some vehicles...like a Brent tracked vehicle would be nice.
