Picked up the Haleakala P-38, never unpacked, for $105 on ebay a few weeks ago. The last one before it on ebay sold for over $200. One closed yeserday at $255. Been trying for over a year to get one off ebay at a good price. The patience paid off this time.

Sweet dea;. that is a nice plane. Being the eBayer I am I'd probably turn around and put it up for auction.

I remember when my local Hobbytown USA store was selling them for $60 back in 2004! The scheme was neat, but never really interested me. Guess I should have gotten one of those, oh and the "Winter" Me-109

I got one about 2 years ago on e-bay I think that I paid $75 for it.

I still got mine sealed in the box, hehehehe.... I got it for $40 on clearance when it was at KB Toys on-line years ago. mmuuuaaaGGGHHH!!!!

But really, it's not about money.....

I think that that this is the best P-38 made. It also ranks up there with the best color paint in XD other than the Tusk Mustang. My opion.
