To be honest this release came as quite a suprise and I'm pretty excited about it. The idea of a 1:18 Tokyo Raider(and a Hellcat
) sitting in my game room has been something I've dreamed about since release of the BBI Zero. I'm hoping 21st does us right on this one; maybe they'll try to make up for past mistakes and release it before the end of the year
The Avenger is really not a great basis for comparrision. There were several reasons outside of 21st Century Toys control that caused delay after delay. Some of it was complexity but only a minor portion. Mostly it was situations that in one case was even an "act of god" and involved a fire!
There are a few people here who perfer to be negative and tend to forget the MANY MANY other releases that were announced and then would show up only few months later. (new hanomags, F-86, MiG-15, Pak-40 and so on).
I don't have any hard details on the B-25 yet but based on the little that I have heard from 21c I would place my bet on a 4th Quarter release same as the Phantom II.
More detials should be coming in the next week or so. I was out of town for the last 4 days so I am a little out of the loop. On a side note My inbox was jammed full of thanks from fans on making the B-25! People have really been very supportive of this product announcement.

I am certian that we will see a prototype pic at some point. along with some paint masters and pilot figure shots. I just think some of that will be a little later. 21st kinda likes to keep some of that stuff close to the vest for the time being. But I am sure we will continue to see updates on the B-25 and other projects as well.
My take is that 21st is turning over a new leaf and being more upfront about what is on its upcoming plate after their PR fiasco. It seems like they've finally realized that there's no downside to making their next few upcoming birds known a year out, as none of their competitors are really in a position to, let alone desire to, go head-to-head with them.
The early announcement on the B-25 is a big win for us, the consumer, as Admiral can go forward with something else, and 21st can take their time to make sure they have this bird nailed down before releasing it without the pressure of being beat to the punch.
