Earlier this week I received my Hurry home Honey from BadCats big sale. It is a really great aircraft. My first 1:18 aircraft with no damage or real flaws. The OD green and Natural aluminum paint scheme is fantastic
Anyhow my question is, on the actual aircraft was the Hurry Home Honey nose art on both sides of the fuselage? I can't find a picture of the right side of the aircraft and I was curious as to whether the left side only marking is true to life or was it another Old Crow type mistake?
BTW I asked this in the BBI thread but nobody seems to go there so I deleted that and posted here.

To my knowledge, "HHH" was only on the left side of the fuselage. For more information and pictures, go to Google.com, type in Hurry Home Honey and click on images. A bunch of pictures will pop up and I know that you'll find what you're looking for.

Rowsdower, Billgiff is correct, HHH was only on the port side.

Awesome, thanks guys. I tried google images again and came up some pics of the blank side. I don't know how I missed them earlier.

HHH only carried the name on the port side. This info comes directly from my good freind Merle Olmstead who was a crew chief for the 357th. Speaking of HHH I had the honor of meeting Maj Pete Petersons son last weekend and he shared many photos and stories about his dad. I showed him my HHH Mustang and he was blown away by it and said it was to bad his dad wasnt alive to see it because he would have loved it. So I guess that says something for BBI now dont it? If you need anymore indepth info on HHH let me know because I might be able to help you out since I have a file full of photos and info about it.

Awesome, thanks for the offer! Glad to see his son was so thrilled with the BBI HHH, I'm sure the Major would have loved it. It is definitely my favorite out of the bunch. You are very lucky to be able to meet these people!

Just found this out from Bad Cat. There are no more HHH. And no more will be produced so thats the end of that! It seemed that once they put them on clearance they went fast so I'm lucky I got mine back. There is still the OD Old Crow's and Cripes A Mighty Mustangs left for those interested.
