POST AVENGER FINDS AND DISCUSSION HERE!
Great photos of the Avengers! I wish I had a setup like that to take pictures, you know the solid white surroundings.

Great pictures, thanks for posting them. I wish my Avenger was as nice as there are. Here is a list of problems it had right out of the box:
1. Front of cowl not glued on well, it fell off.
2. Engine not glued in, it just fell forward when the front of the cowl fell off.
3. Both of the sliding canopys were cracked on top.
4. The antenna on top of the canopy had so much glue on it, you could not slide the canopy windows all the way open since glue was in the channel the canopy slides on.
5. The right wing sags so bad that displaying it with the wings extended is not really an option. The gap on the top of where the wings join is huge.
6. All three of the prop blades are lose in the prop hub. One of the blades will lean from side to side depending how you have the prop set.
I have an Atlantic Avenger without the screw covers, and it has NONE of these problems. I think I will stop buying 21st Century models online. I will have to see them at Walmart to give them somewhat of an inspection.

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game.

Oh, I forgot a couple more problems. When I tried to put the flaps down on one of the wings, the whole flap came off. The strip that is glued on to hold the flap on came off. It had very little glue, I fixed that ok. When I took the glass ball off of the turrent, one side of the turrent would fall. This is because the whole floor it is attached to was only attached to one side of the fuselage.

Again, great pictures!
I wish I had room to display my (Atlantic) Avenger so I could open it and get some good pics (I enjoy photographing my models, I took the pic in my sig). and enjoy it. The Aliens are awesome on the Flight 19 Avenger!

I may have to order another Flight 19 Avenger - and get one that comes with an alien! 21c needs to release a carded version of that figure - they could do a whole "Roswell: 1947" figure lineup, with some of the D-Day figures repainted in OD green uniforms and a couple aliens

I have to say that my Avenger is perfect. No blemishes, no nothing. The other day I was studying it and I noticed something for the first time. The engine has 2 seperate rows of cylinders just like the real thing! This is the very first time I have ever seen that on a 1/18th plane. Everything on the Avenger is done right according to my books that I have on it. So my hats off to 21st once again on a great looking torpedo bomber. I can now see why it took so long to produce. I have no interest in getting the flight 19 Avenger but I sure will buy the Bunker Hill version thats for sure when it comes out.

Nice pictures all.
The WM in West Mifflin, PA has avengers for $25. I picked up a pair, and there are still 4 or 5 left. Maybe I'll check back in a couple of weeks???
Although I don't have the room, I couldn't resist so I outed one and put it together. Of course, after I did so I couldn't stop looking at the stubby beast!
In all, a very impressive aircraft and a steal at $25.
