I Have just looked at BBI's website they have got rid of the combat command section that was "under construction" and in the 1:18 section they have put up pics of last years 4 Modern troops and a pic of the new MH-6 I am hoping that this along with mikes hints of new figs at the end of feb means that a large amount of new stuff is about to hit :)

I really hope that this another sign that bbi is jumping back into there 1/18 line with the enthusiasm when started.

Great pics, digger! I like how your Spec. Ops troops look exactly like mine (save the helmets) in their use of parts from various BBI figures

This new incarnation of the BBI Littlebird is awesome and is now one of my favorite BBI Helos (although the rest are still very cool, indeed!)

Nice pics of the Black Hawk Down Diorama. The Delto force figures look great. I have both of the previous Little Birds. I may have to pick up this one as well. I wish that the Delta Force helments from the Desert Patrol Buggy would come packed in with the new Army figures.

I just got my first 1:18 scale plane....the BBI ZERO. This thing is really cool...but it was not that easy to get to go together...and the rear landing wheel was a MAJOR pain in the butt to retract. Also, the wings seem to have some sag...is this normal?

That is an excellent first plane to get because it is so rare to come accross one at a decent price. I do not think that my Zero has any sag in the wings though. I will have to double check. What paint scheme did you get (White or Green)? Every other plane model (not every paint scheme) will be much easier to come across other than the Spitfire.

I special ordered it from a Local Hobby People store....took 2 1/2 weeks to get it. They said it was their last one....so, score! I got the green one...and it looks really sweet!

I was in WalGreens yesterday and noticed that they were carrying 1/12 scale BBI figures (3) claiming 14 points of articulation and a price point of $6 per figure or 3 figures for $12. The are modern figures and the subject matter is 2 machine gunners and a sniper. They are not quite on the McFarlane level of detail but neither is their price. Seems like maybe this has peen discussed but no finds out in the market yet. Anyway here they are for you 1/12 collectors.

I was wondering where those disappeared to. I saw them at the Chicago show in October, and haven't heard a squeak about them since. They emphasis on them at the Chicago show had me worried that they may replace the 1/18 line-up, but based on the more recent NYTF pics, that no longer looks to be an issue.

This looks to be a great year for new aircraft! In fact, this may be the year with the most new types. Anybody know or remember a year that had more new types than this(other than repaints?)? I am really curious but dont know how to check. Hope someone keeps track better than I do

I cant wait to get my hands on this one. Plus I hear the first version will be Lt Jg Alex Varcius white #19. If I buy only one Grumman Cat this will be the only version.

I know this is a few years after the fact, but I finally broke down and bought a BBI Apache helicopter from my local Hobbytown USA store. Despite the several inaccuracies, I must say that it is a very impressive and well detailed helo and quite worth the $60 price tag 8)

I agree. Yes, it has a few inaccuracies, but it is a massive helo with a bunch of customizing potential. Plus, it just looks sinister  . Gotta love that.

Somebody here just did a custom on one that turned out pretty nice... viewtopic.php?t=7519
My local TRU had some too, I almost bought one but for some reason decided not to. At $20 they really are a pretty good deal, I suppose I'll have to get one now if there are any left.

I'd get it, if I were you! I was at first a little hesitant about getting one - afterall my S2 OD Green Littlebird is still a great piece - but I gave in and have come to really like the Nightstalker Littlebird, perhaps even more than the origional! The Helo is largely a new tooling - having more rivets and antennas than on the origional Littlebird. Plus there are the accomodations made for the seats and fast-ropes. In a certain way, it has more versatility than the origional Littlebird and can easilu carry more figures (always a plus in my opinion!) As some of the pictures posted by Diggger and myself earlier in this thread may testify, the new BBI figures go very well with it!
