The alien is a hit!
I took some pictures of my new Flight 19 Avenger and sent it to a few of my friends. I got more comments on the cool little alien than I did the plane. I took a picture of the crew beating up the alien, and my best friends kids loved it. He also asked me if 21st Century was going to sell just the alien. Looks like my Avenger took a back seat to the little alien.

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game.

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

I make models of spacecraft from science fiction movies and television shows I always thought it would be great if they made 1/18 models from some of the older classic shows like Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, or Space:1999.

I have the 1/72 unbuilt kit of the ship from "Forbidden Planet" Cool with full interior.
Well with tv shows, you'll need licenses and junk to reproduce it.
I always wondered "how come companies don't just make up their own line" But the toys's need some sort of show/movie tie in do good.
I really like the dark gray paint on the FT 19's.

True, but you know with the experience that the manufacturers have they could make up thier own line of spacecraft that look functional and yet appeal to kids. I'll bet they could get the license for some of these games out there. I remember one called "Free Lancer" that had some cool designs out there. I remember hearing a study done about Science Fiction model kits based on TV and Movie tie ins. They showed the models sold more in places where the show or movie never played then in areas it did. The kids were buying them because they thought of many more ways to use them rather then just the way they were portrayed in the movies.
