1:6 MB jeep and Kubelwagen at Walmart

Post by Mach3plus » Sun Jan 23, 2005 4:06 pm

That's right. Went to wally world in central virginia. Just looked on the shelf and there they were, a 1:6 jeep and 1:6 kubelwagen. Each has two figures. The jeep has Patton in the back seat but box doesn't claim to be the Patton jeep. They are advertising it as "Extreme Scale".

They aren't in the blue box. They are in the old yellowish/gold box. I happened to scan price. It was around $67.00.

Then there must be two releases of the new Jeep. A recent post on a 1/6 site ioncludes a picture of the new Jeep and the box is clearly BLUE.

Check out the "Sixth Div" site under "Barracks" and you'll see a detailed review of the Jeep with a ton of pics.

Shows a blue box.

That is strange unless somebody's scanner is messed up.

Both are the same Jeep with the same two figures.

Thanks Mach3

Also, does anyone remember the M2 Bradley 1/6 scale coming out in 2000 at Toyrus? Did it sell for 270.00? Seems awfully steep and I see one on ebay where he said he paid that much. Sure would like 21st
to come out with that one again. (at Walmart). :D

If half the things I hear about how good the 21c 1/6 Bradley is, I'd gladly pay through the nose, but I don't want to get raped with shipping and the cost to box that monster up.

Add a re-release to our wish list.

The only problem with the 1:6 bradley was that it wasn't full scale 1:6. It was somewhat smaller due to it's sheer size.......

I found both Jeep and Kubelwagen here in the Dover WM. I will pass on them. They look good and the price isn't bad, but 1:6 just ain't my thing, baby...........
