I agree 100% - the chutes and harnesses have become the worst thing to happen to figures. The legs are ruined, the chest molds are ruined...and all the paras shown look AWESOME, but you are stuck with jump ready guys. :? Why would that one US WWII guy be getting to work with all his jump gear on as shown on the card?? I guess they know what sells but man it is the same problem we had with the original WWII wave... :x

However, the USMC recon is a great army builder, and we are looking at some of the best weapons and headgear ever!

G'day Grunt

Thanks for posting the pictures.

I'm looking forward to the A-American USMC dude to use as a basis for a Teal'c figure for my 1/18th Stargate team :D

good to see a wwii brit at last. I imagine there will be a non-jump ready one at some point, just like there was with the US paras.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

I wonder if there will be more new figures since there are only four of each type(with or without chute) and usually bbi releases in groups of six, that and there are 2 new figs that i have but arent shown.

Really wish BBi would get rid of the paras. Otherwise, I can't wait for these figures. Been needing a good modern trooper fix.

At one point i think i remember Mike saying they are making paras because that's what Tru wants - but everytime I see new figures on the shelf, the basic figs sell out when the paras stay on the pegs for months. And I have also seen Mustang and Corsair prices go from $39.99, to $42.99, then briefly to $45.99 and then back to $39.99. Right now the P-51 is one price, and the Corsair another. What's with that, TrU?

How many total figure are there now since we had the previous 4 shown and one of them looks like the Omar Delgodo figure in that set?

Great A Brit!! i would prefer a modern Brit but this a good start! the other figures look really nice and i like the look of the new weapons! Come on BBI make another weapons pack with these in! the new gear all looks nice. i am hoping that we will see even more then these this year as mentioned a chuteless brit would be cool but i'd like to see chuteless versions of the modern figures too.
If interrested in seeing more of my customs check out

Same thing here. It seems they can't even give the things away in my AO. The parachute and harness was a cool gimmick for awhile but enough is enough, make more standard figures, especially British and Russian troops!!
