I may have to bite the bullet guys and get this version of the Thunderbolt. The nose art is so damn cool. I talked to Julie at Bad Cat and she says that the new 47's seem to be alright. No messed up paint jobs, broken parts ect and now before they ship them they inspect them to make sure everything is ok. I think "Snortin Bull" would look good parked next to "Killer" my P-51D. It would look cool to have the two pilots conversing about the days missions.
I have yet to get a 1/18th P-47 and this will be my choice. I have to admit that I have never had alot of love for the Jug, why? Really I have no answer because I'm such a big P-51 nut (Corsair Nut Too!!). But I think I will take a chance and order "Snortin Bull". She may be a Jug but she looks damn pretty.

I have to agree. Snortin' Bull looks the best of the lot. I really like the black streak on top! It reminds me of a paint scheme I would of done as a 9 year old to sport it up. The cool thing is that it is 100% correct!!! Gotta love it........... You know, I had over 60 models hanging in my room as a kid.

Julie at Bad Cat called me yesterday to let me know she had some parts for me to replace broken ones on my first two Bubbletops. She asked if I wanted a Snortin Bull as they checked it and it was good, not like the others. I bit, will see when it gets here. Great customer service from Rob and his gang.
