Figure painting.
This question is for anyone. I am going to attempt to paint some of my marines with camo jackets like the helmet covers. What paints will work the best. I mean, I want the paint to be as durable as the original job. I don't want the paint to chip when I bend an arm. I have painted figures before and have had good results with acrylics and enamels. I also seal them with modge podge. This seems to work well if the figures are given time to dry and set. However, if other people have better methods, I am listening.

Second kenhil. NEVER USE ENAMELS. It's something to do with the reaction between PVC and the enamel, but it will never "dry". Ruined a few figures that way. I've had real good luck with Testors water-based acrylics. Pretty much as long as its water based paint, I've had good luck, and they hold up pretty well to continual handling.
