Just bought a bbi Apache helicopter (finally discounted to $29.99 at TRU - Virginia) and the rotor blades were molded curved up. Didn't know if this was realistic or a result of packaging. Seems some hot water remolding is in order. Ran across this and some other pictures at this site. 'Ski, this may be useful.

i think they are deliberately molded curved up a bit to counteract the inevitable sag that they will undergo over time. The sag is significant....fine if you plan to pose it sitting on the ground, as the rotor blades on the real thing do sag but too low if you want to hang it 'in flight'.
