Black Cat Aviation Catalog...............

Post by Teamski » Tue Jan 18, 2005 3:40 pm

I got a surprise in the mail today. BCA issued a large catalog; 11"x8", 29 pages thick and full color. Anybody else get it yet? I'm really impressed with the thing!! I gotta say, Rob's got the goods...............

I suppose if you ordered from them in the past, you get one. Or, you could probably call and see if you can get one that way........

Here a couple pictures of it for you curious types!

They landed in Utah a week ago. Mine promptly landed in the round file. Graphics are what the internet is for

The round file!

Wow nomo, that seems pretty rough.

But it did provide a moment of levity when I pictured someone taking their PC (internet) into the john.

Jeesh nomo . . . first Badcat, and now Rush.

Is nothing sacred? (rhetorical, please).

Two non-hobbyist guys at my office looked through the Badcat catalogue on Friday and were absolutely stunned by the dimensions of the 1/18 scale aircraft. We may have made a new convert or two as both of them said they used to make model kits as kids. This may be a common occurrence as their catalogue gets around.

The laptop in the john IS funny, and I made a mental note not to borrow yours anytime soon dude! And allowing for the possibility that there’s another individual out there somewhere using your hardware technique, I just added a new pack of antibacterial wipes on my shopping list for work.

:?

Got mine a couple of days ago. Sort of like a printed form of their website, and they focus on all out favorites - 21c, BBI, FOV, Dragon, and Corgi. Its a great service to our hobby!

Speaking of converts to the hobby, I let my dad (who works at the FAA district office in Fresno, Ca.) hang my old Kepford Corsair in his office. That drew alot of surprised comments from the FAA staff, and now there are several people in the office who've ordered 21c and BBI planes (namely from BCA) to suit their purposes! My dad doesn't think I'm so crazy collecting these big planes afterall!
