Yeah---for US armor I would like to see a M-5 or M-3. I think they would be fun to have with our Jarheads and for fighting that blasted DAK (whenever they come  )

I want any new plane they make, really, there is no point begging the companys for something, they will never listen.

Their strategy is, the more popular and well known the plane, the better it will sell to civilians.

I tend to disagree, because maybe if a person never saw the plane, it will encourage him to buy it and take a look.

Im sure any person who has some interest in aircraft will draw a Mustang perfectly.

Same goes for tanks, but even before they make a new tank, re-realise the Panzer IV W/Shurzen and Panther non-RC!!!.

A-10 and A-7 corsair would be great choices both recognizable enough and very cool!

I still think the colorful WW1 biplanes would be best sellers and some 30's army air corp planes.

Whos on board for a chrome P-35?

I really want a P-51 A/B/C model or Mig-21, those are realistic hopes, but my dream is a Do-335 in "I Gruppe" paint.

Bring on the Russians, I'd like to see one of the most numerous airplanes built during WWII the IL-2. A Yak 3 would be nice as well at the P-39 in Russian colors. I've seen some photos and the Russians had some colorful aircraft with slogans all over the sides. "Kind of like Flying bill boards."

I would love to see Russian planes, the Il-2 is in my top ten favorite planes, but for some reason the companys are cold hearted to Russia.

There are no Russian tanks/trucks, and I think the Mig-15 was made for Korea and China, or just to compliment the Sabre. One more thing bugs me, why does the Sabre have those cool seatbelts and the Mig doesnt? They were made at the same time.

Imo the Russian T-34 is very beautiful, if the companys are going for the regular buyer first routine, I think, to the average person a T-34 looks nicer than a Tiger.

Same with the Il-2, it looks better than a Stuka, no?

Might as well call the companys racsit :|

Your say on this TKO?

My 1:18 wishlist

Post by jaywhy8202 » Mon Jan 08, 2007 3:34 pm

Just passing time with some idle thoughts of what to add to my personal 1:18 "tarmac"...

F-4 Phantom (in USAF, USN, USMC, JASDF, IAF & Luftwaffe markings)

A-1D Skyraider (USAF "Sandy" & USN/USMC "Spad" paintjobs)

A-4 Skyhawk (USN, USMC, Blue Angels, RAAF & RNZAF paintjobs)

F-5 Freedom Fighter/T-38 Talon single & twin-seater versions (USN Adversary, Republic of the Philippines AF, Republic of China AF, USAF, Thunderbirds & NASA paintjobs)

F-86 Saber (JASDF & ROKAF markings)

A-10 Warthog Ooohhh yeah!

F-8 Crusader (USN & USMC paintjobs)

A-7 Corsair II (USAF & USN markings)

CH-46 Sea Knight (aka "Frog" -- USN & USMC markings)

CH-53D Sea Stallion (USN, USMC, JMSDF markings)

SH-60 Seahawk (USN, JMSDF and RAN markings)

AV-8B Harrier (USMC markings) Although I wouldn't mind if a few Sea Harrier FRS Mk. 1's were made in No. 801 Naval Air Squadron markings...

OV-10 Bronco (USMC & California Department of Forestry markings) I'm surprised no one thought about making this little scooter...

C-17 Globemaster III (USAF, RAAF & RAF markings) Yeah, a bit extravagant, but who sez ya gotta dream small?

I'll ditto this...except, for somewhat obvious reasons  , I'd like to see an F-4 with USMC markings first.

...and make it VMFA-323, The Death Rattlers.

Awhile back, there was some discussion on just how big the manufacturers could go with 1:18 aircraft.

As much as I, and others, want an F-4, I wonder if an F-4 is viable? I think, size-wise, it'd be a real beast.
