What happened to Small Blue Planet??

I tried to get to their site today and it is all Japanese, no pictures, just Japanese glyphs. Tried from two different avenues and got the same thing.

I continue to get a page full of chinese idiograms and question marks when I attempt to access the site! On eBay "smallblueplanettoys" site there are no items listed. :?: :?: So does anybody else have this problem? Could it be my computer alone??

small blue planet

Post by Sdup » Fri Jan 14, 2005 10:17 am

Hi,

I have no problems getting to that site. Try using this URL:
http://www.smallblueplanet.com/content/index.asp

If that does not work, try dumping your "temporary internet files" and deleting your cookies. If you are using IE, do this by going to Tools-- > Internet Options -->
Under the "General" tab there is an option to under temporary internet files to "Delete Cookies" and "Delete files". Then try again and hit the refresh button on the top.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the help, unfortunately it didn't  . I am using IE for Mac. I have noticed that pages I went to on my PC look different on the mac and this appears to be one of them.

That is weird.
What version of the MAC OS do you have? I will go home to check it tonight on my iMac. I think I have OSX 10.1.3?? Not sure.
I have a PC for work and it works fine.

Unfortunately, it works fine on Mac OSX 10.2.8 and IE 5.2.3 for me. Sorry about that. Is it just the fonts or is it the pictures too?

Interestingly enough SBP does work on my DULL PC but not on my imac G5. there are no pictures or readable text. Everything on the page is either (wjat appear to be) Chinese idiograms ot question marks in BOLD. Very very odd. I am using EI 5.2.3 also. At least I get this site and everything else, just SBP displays that strange page....
