Best place to look for 1/18 stuff in DC and Hawaii?

Post by dzirhan » Sat Jan 15, 2005 4:28 am

Hi all,

I'll be going to the states on a U.S govt programme though I don't think I'll have much free time save for the DC and Hawaii portions of the trip, not that I'm complaining since I'm going to Cheyenne Mountain and Fort Lewis so that's worth the busy part, anyway I'll be grateful if you guys can tell me any good places to look for 1/18 military stuff in DC and Hawaii, thanks in advance for any advice.

I live in Northern Virginia, just outside Washington, DC.
I have looked and looked and I think the best place around here to look for 1:18 is on the internet. You would think that an area as populated as this area is, there would be lots of choices. NOPE!
Better luck in HI.

Unfortunately in the DC Metro (Va/Md/DC) theres no place that stocks XD aside from a few TRU stores that have remaining stock (mostly bulldogs) and WM's. If you're bound and determined to find 1:18, just use the store finder feature on either WM or TRU website and find the stores closest to where you'll be and have at it.

Sorry couldn't be of more help but the region is pretty dry when it comes to specialty stores that stock 1:18.

Regards,
Todd

We do have Galland 109s, Red 3 190s and D-Day Spitfires here in the Dover, DE area. We did have Kepford Corsairs, but those got soaked up.
