Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?

I have now finnished re-reading all the post including reading between all the lines and I'm exausted, but Ok one last shot before i go and hit the hey......
I think this is a clue in itsself:
"The name of the aircraft is "one" name. Therefore, if your answer is more then 1 name... you are wrongish! "
One name can be two names ie Birddog, Tomcat, Wildcat etc....
On the other hand what about a He 219 UHU (owl) that would be sweet and unusual but I think at the same time very popular.
Even though my preference the Arado Ar234 Blitz has already been ruled out, maybe a I can strecth this to YP80 Shootingstar or a Gloster Meteor.
As far as WWII for me there is not much left that has not alredy been mentioned apart from the Me 163 Komet or a if you want to push it a DH Vampire was almost WWII.
I do not think anyone has mentioned any WWII Russian stuff like the Mig 3, Yaks 3,7 & 9 or La 7! now I'm just fishing.
Good night all

The A6 is the Intruder, not Invader, just in case Jason is going by names rather than A or F, etc., designations.Moth wrote:A-6 Invader?

Wow, we have a feeding frenzy!
I admit the aircraft has been mentioned. You guys have guessed the aircraft. But the rules of the game are if someone can point me to the actual hint in which I give the name of the aircraft. Up to this point, this has not been done.
So if someone wants to compile a list of all the aircraft said in this “interview post” you have our next aircraft on that list. I admit a lot of aircraft have been mentioned, but at least you are looking at it?
I will give you one more hint about my "latent" hint. It was three words!
Look on the bright side you have learned a lot about Admiral Toys. I know you didn’t read my past posts with such concentration and critical observation as you have the past couple of days.
Thanks for being good sports about this. I am sure this guessing game will get old real quick (Maybe it already has for some of you). I am sorry that I cannot just come out and tell you. Everyone at Admiral Toys made a promise to one another that we would show restraint and unveil the aircraft at the toy fair.
Regards,
Jason

so are we to assume then, that it has been mentioned since the post you made yesterday, where you stated it had not been guessed yet? I think we have to, because otherwise that post was a falsehood and that would mean Jason tells falsehoods and i don't think i could deal with that right now at this point in my life.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

F. 1. 4. are three words and I gave you the hint

I don't recall this being mentioned before, so it's likely out to the ball park. Jason mentioned earlier that it flew in several wars as well as by civilians. At a different time, that it will make a big splash. Howwa 'bout the A-26 Intruder, flew in WWII, Korea, VN, and made a big splash as a firefighting airtanker in civie hands. Likely not, of course. Mabbe something along those lines of divination of Jason's clues.

A-26 is quite a good guess. Also fits into the 'not much requested' clue and the 'one name' clue.
The three word clue Jason referred to may have been something like 'coming from abroad' or 'coming here unexpected, which kinda defines what an invader does.

We'll know soon enough... Just another couple months. Which, based on past situations like the Avenger, isn't that long! Which is worse: knowing something you really want is coming, then waiting 2+ years for it, or anticipating something that will arrive soon, and will be a total surprise on top of it?

Oops, that should'a been A-26 Invader, not Intruder. Sigh. To paraphrase one of the folks here and directed back at me, "How many ways to go stupid, Stupid?."

It's sooo obvious....But if we do make a showing in the 1:18 market, it will be with a splash. (Was that a hint?)

"Jason: The only comment I have is as follows: In my opinion the F-5 is one of the slickest looking aircraft. It just looks like a fighter. Since the late 80’s the F-5 has captured the feel of a dogfighter in the eyes of many, and the youth of today see models that look like the F-5 as the quintessential fighter. We think it will be a strong seller. I cannot say whether you will see the F-5 at the toy fair. It might not be ready for release at that time."
If the answer is the F-5, as a trick, then there is the quote

I don't really know have much of a guess, but I would love to see the A-26 Invader. It is one of my favorites, plus plenty of repaint opportunities.
I talked to Jason at the Wings Over Houston airshow back in October, but he wouldn't tell me any of the upcoming new planes then either no matter how many I promised to buy.
