You crack me up.

I wish yours was the only complaint but we sold a lot more then 200 models. Yours is not the only complaint, but is being taken care of.

Furthermore, I think my first number was high. I would estimate that this forum comprises about 75% of questions regarding quality. I will not call them complaints. You all are a pleasure to deal with.

Thanks for your reply and letting me know that I was not the only one experiencing the front wheel problem. I thought I was alone again in left field. I am glad you were able to remedy your problem. I just cannot get it to come down. Jason did give me some suggestions as to how to do it, but I could not make it happen. I may just purchase another to see if that one will be better. In the mean time, this one is flying indefinately, wheels up. Looks like I am now in that percentage too.

I had go to a meeting tonight, and when I got back I think my reaction to the new ME262 model sums it up. I have the model on my desk, and when I turned the light on and saw it my first thought was..........Wow. This is one great looking model. Admiral did a fantastic job on the ME262.

Do not go off and buy another model. I told you to contact our customer service and we will remedy the situation. Why pay for another model when you are not happy with the first? Unless you like throwing money out the door....

Mine showed up today, after it got stranded in the snow in the midwest. By some incredible twist of fate, there has been no damage, shipping or otherwise to the 262; it's a very nice product

After 4 days of walking past my Me-262 sitting in its box on the light table in my company's mock-up production area, today, the day finally came: time to put the Schwalbe together! It has been a hard wait, but it was worth it!
Admiral--great work! It went together flawlessly, fit and finish was great, and no problems with the landing gear or any other moving parts. The only issue is the the height of the pilot not allowing the canopy to close, but will follow VMF115's recommendation...

Thanks again for developing a great model and an amazing addition my collection!

hmm.....their next model's landing gear is 'snazzy' which probably means it's complicated but works well. Hmm....

Took a dora pilot and used him in the 262. His butt chute also make a good spacer to move him more vertical 'ala F-86.

I trimmed the lowest section of the pilots neck, as well as the upper part where it rides on the collar and got it to work.

Here's a question for ya-- The outside of the 262 cardboard shipping box has an item number- mine is 18004; is this a serial number or just a product code of some sort?

I took the butt chute off my pilot and didn't have any problem getting him in the cockpit.

It's the "sku" or product code.

The Sabre's are:
18001 : Jolly Roger
18002 : Patricia II
18003 : Luftwaffe

I've given the "silver" F-86 a sku of 18001b but that's not official.

I got my 262 today and it is a wonderful model....Thanks Jason!
I don't like the pilot though. It is not just with AT toys but I don't really like any of the other German pilots from 21C, so I am not picking on you Jason.

The 190 guy is not too bad, but still not all that great.

I really hate the P-40 pilot, he has got a strange color pattern going on.

Has anyone put differnet in the set of the 262?

Yeh, I put the pilot from a "retired" Dora in my 262. Looks much better. I also put a butt chute behind him to move him more vertical and forward.

Sometimes the retired stuff can provide some useful bits. The "bazooka" type rocked launchers from "huckle de buck" went to a camo aussie 'stang outside the bombs from a photo I once saw.

I swapped heads with the Mig 15 pilot and the me-262 pilot

I had to shave some plastic here and there and use some super glue but the looks is wow! He even has an oxygen mask. I just wish I had a camera.

The new mig-15 pilot definitely looks Russian, and the new Me-262 Pilot looks German.

Here is what I did

I removed both heads and cut off the pegs so they both will fit.
I then had to cut down the neck of the Russian pilot and then super glued his head on the body of the me-262 pilot.

The me-262 pilot head then went on the body of the mig-15 pilot; the look is almost spooky

and the best part is he fits in the cockpit!!!!!!

Ahh, I remember you mentioning doing this before. Since I've already fixed to 262 well enough, I might do this to the Chinese mig, he does look a little more oriental now that I look at him again.

Great job with the band. This was brought to the attention of our facility pre-production. We were told that the band was fixed. However, all aircraft were painted before a new tool was made for the aircraft.

Future paint schemes will have a wider band.

Nice work and nice clear shots as well, however if those pictures were taken on your driveway I hope you took the appropriate precautions after Sabrefan’s recent fatal experience!

On a positive note my wife just rang me to say that a large package addressed to me had just been delivered......... WooooooHooooooo I suspect that my Me 262 is finally here

I am contemplating customising mine to represent one of the other aircraft of Kommando Nowotny by over painting the 8 and replacing it with another number as I believe that quite a few of the units other aircraft may have had simular paint jobs, however I still need to research this a bit further first.
