A while back, someone was asking about trains in 1:18. I was looking today for some stuff on mostly-British 16mm (1:19 scale) trains and came across these prototypes.

These are mostly 2-foot gauge trains. To model this for 1:18, you use O-scale rather than G-scale track. To make equipment, you can either build everything using wheels and mechanisms from O-scale trains, or (just found out about these) about 10 years ago a company called Faller made some trains in this scale/track size.

Looks like I'll something else to my ever-building trainset.
