You didn't have a problem picking up several of the 24.99 planes I told you about in Alexandria WM last year?? Now did you? Hmmm...

Its a 40 min. drive for me, and I was up last night with two kids with stomach flu. Add to it my wife is in Vegas because he father passed away..............Any other time, I would have been there last night. But right now, other things have a little more priority.

I called a buddy who lives on that side of town, but he's pretty tied up too. Maybe he can pull a miracle, if they are still there....

I just returned from a trip to Boston. Along the way home I stopped in 1 W.M. in Mass. and 3 in Conn. I found the same crap in those stores as the W.M.s in N.J. :!: :!: What a waste! I guess it's the whole North East Syndrome thing. The crap found was the R/C Panzer IV, R/C M113, Black Me-109? and German F104. That's it.

I wouldn’t worry.....its not that. It’s their screwed up distribution and stocking system. They are literally 10 years behind the game on their system and some toy managers will cut an item from coming if they think its a poor seller. One Wal Mart by me hasn’t had any aircraft for nearly 6 months now. Only figures and 32x.

Same story here. Out of six stores, only the first store ever has vehicles and aircraft. The other five only carry 32x, some carded figures and the occasional aircraft, which is usually either the black ME-109 or the Luftwaffe Starfighter. The first store had one of each of the new vehicles except the M16, all of which I had already bought online. But they did have three Avengers, one of which I snatched. Next day the other two were gone along with all the new armor. I won't hold my breath waiting for restock either.

Tons of 32x though, I guess that's more popular?

I finally found a set of new Halftracks and Pak- 40 at a W.M. in Princeton N.J. They had one set out on the floor but of course way up on the top shelf. I found myself a ladder and plucked them down 1 by 1. No W.M. employees were around to ask if they had more in the back. Now I can stop my crying and I wiped away all my tears. Other than that, no new aircraft and just a bunch of short barreled Panzer IV's, R/C M113's, Black Me-109s and German F-104s.

Can anyone take or share a picture of the short barreled gray Panzer IV that I can use for the SSHQ database?

Thanks! :D

>>> Picked up the plain "tan or drk-yellow and green" ,.. I guess (S-3) Hanomag and the plain-jane U.S. OD (S-3) M3A3 Half-track at the Florence , Ky. W-M. ... I guess these have been out for awhile ,.. but "spotty" here. ... Plenty of those there at the Colrain ave. location near me where I picked up a command car w/ two 82nd. airborne figures inside ,.. Corp. Esquivel and Jennings. ... Plenty of 32x. there too ,.. where I also picked up the "Devil Dogs" Corsair and the (S-3) Sturmpanzer Brummbar ,.. new Stalingrad "The final assault" and "Iron Horses" battle-packs w/ the neat German camo'd famo. ..... Interesting note though : The Stalingrad battle-pack comes w/ the (S-1) "grey" 222 complete w/ SS markings and two new Russians ,.. one holding a "Molotov cocktail". + 8)

Amazing how some of the WMs around here seem to be scrounging up year-old stock from somewhere. Not much new, but a lot of re-runs on the shelves!

Today I saw a ton of RC tanks and M-113s all over the place. They had them shoved in by the XD stuff and even on the top shelves in sporting goods. They didn't even bother to wipe off the layer of dust before they put them up there.

Maybe they can clear them out if they slap some chrome spinner rims on them or paint them neon colors with a big wing spoiler and some random Japanese letters sprinkled down the sides... Seems to work with the massive stock of RC Escalades, Eclipses and 74 Caddies...

They don't really ever disappear, they just find interesting new homes up on the top shelves in far corners of the store.. :D

These were in the housewares section.

That is exactly what they did with the 1:6 stuff last Christmas - had them stacked everywhere - next thing you know - they were down to $99.99 then $59.99 even lower in some stores -

We will probably see all the old dusty 1:6 stuff back up to full price next Christmas with the olde New item sticker.

I love the New item sticker.

Lmao! And whats up with the RC Pacers and Gremlins? Next to the tiny XD section the whole aisle is filled with crappy die cast rice burners and spinner rimmed vehicles.

And lol at Grunts pic. That's pretty much what the stock pf RC armor in Sporting goods looks like. If only I could be under those boxes when they finally fall over. Hmmm. 8)
