Just got mine yesterday..
IMHO, hands down the 262 is by far the best plane made in 1/18th scale to date.
I've not had a better time assembling and discovering all the little details..
My pitot tube was in the same chamber as the pilot, screws and screwhole covers.
The snap and fit of the wings to the main body was a breeze!
The gun bays were a great addition and the little props to keep them open for maintenance are a perfect touch.
Including the swastikas was right on as well. I will not apply mine but to have them available for those that want that level of accuracy or detail is very thoughtful!
Can't say enough about the antenna(s) and wiring.. I'm surprised how much realism this little addition creates. The setup is much sturdier than other planes that tried this have a achieved.
Someone else said it, but the tires look great with actual tread! Again, nice surprise!
Paint scheme and quality is excellent.. The thing looks gorgeous just sitting still!
The detailed interiors of the nacelles is also a huge improvement over the Sabre intake..
You get the general idea.. I'm smitten with this one!
Bravo AT, Bravo!!
