Congrats on the Tiger.

Now you need to locate one of the original diecast Tigers.

Don't feel bad.

In Arkansas, , home of Wal-Mart....

Today.
S1 MiG-15 in ONE of two stores checked.
No significant 1:18 in that store, OTHER than the MiG.

No NEW 1:18 in the other store AT ALL (and it's just outside the main gate of an Air Force Base)

Okay guys im much happier now.I mangaed to glue all the pieces back on humpty.just one off the wheels is angled no biggy. The odd thing about it being broken was that the box was in mint condition and hadnt been opened previously.the truck was still secured and tied down.

I also found 2 each of the m3,seal mutt, tow mutt, and german halftracks.they havent had any vehicles at this walmart in over a year and half so i was shocked.I bought my first M3 and i have to say i am ver impressed.I hope this means that the other new vehicles will be showing up soon :D

Same with the WC's I saw busted at WM. They were all sealed and tied down as well. Weird, lol.

It is a bit steep considering the $40 they were going for at the Wal Marts where they were found (not mine!) and considering the price I paid for mine way back when at TRU. But BCA is not gouging - other equally reputable small retailers are selling the vehicle for the same amount. Makes me glad I already have one, however.

SoCal kinda dry for the 4 new 1:18 vehicles

Post by markecho » Mon Nov 13, 2006 8:09 pm

Howdy all,
I haven't been that active here lately (well maybe wasn't that active to start off with! heh) - been looking more at 1:6 stuff lately but the new items got me shopping again. And usually someone posts here about something new and within a few days at least 1 of the Wallies near me has it. This past weekend went to 8 Wallies from Buena Park all the way down to San Clemente...no sight of the new stuff (hano, M16 or pak40). Lost of 1:32 aircraft and armor, and some 1:18 Corsairs and Stukas,.. AND was lucky to find an Undertaker so the trips weren't a total loss..but I think down here might be a little slow in getting these because I just saw a green variation Japanese troop and some of the SEAL jeeps and half-tracks on the shelves.

Sure hope they land soon. Just keeping those SoCal members informed.

Good luck fishing!

whoo hooo One WM in my area had about 7 109s which are now gone - in their place are the 20 RC tanks they removed from the aisle over the summer. They even placed a lil' sign saying new item. Even better - all of the sudden there are 7-8 of the marines sitting in front of the OMG figures. Wow I love it when they rotate the stock.

One of the sad things i find when hitting walmarts every other day - sometimes items on clearance will go back to full price.

The Marvel Legends Monster set - and the avenger set were clearanced down to 18.99 then 18.79 and then right back up to $29.99.

They also place items in the clearance aisle at full price for months at a time before dropping the item 27 cents. I'm sure this is a preaching to the choir rant but im bored.

I'll be heading down to the LA area next week. Hope to find some of the new stuff there. If it wasn't for my trip down to the LA area awhile back, I would still be without an Avenger. :D

North Frederick (Maryland) WM had an RC Panzer IV in an all-grey paintsceme. Dunno if it is "new" but it's the first time I have seen it..

Nothing entirely new in 1:18 in the Fresno, Ca area. The Selma Wal Mart (south of my town) had restocked the new XD armor assortment, with the Pak-40, Stuka zu Fuss, Pioneerwagen and M-16. I debated as whether or not to get another Pak-40, but decided my one is good enough and will hold out for something new

Immeww2, if you are heading south from Nor Cal anytime soon, you may want to take the 99 and stop by the Selma Wal Mart. The products probably won't move anytime soon!

A purely theoretical question

Post by mikeg » Sat Nov 18, 2006 1:36 pm

Lets say, there is this person, who happens to have the USAF and German 104's, and who happens to not really need another one- but knows where there are 2 vietnam ones on the shelf- what would you do?

Is the above a run-on sentence?

Ran into WM today for packing supplies. Still an XD ghost town. I also hope that it picks up a bit after Thanksgiving. Until then I'm just buying more GI Joe army builder 6 packs and weapons packs from Marauder. (Which are excellent!) :D

Was anything new (Migs, Sabres, Pak-40's Halftracks, ect.) found in Long Island lately?

I found only one new RC Panzer IV, It had a short barrel, but no antenna deflector and NO shurtzen at all, not even on the turrent, it has hole pulgs. It was in a camo pattern.

I found it at the N. Jeruselem Walmart

I usually do that - but was in a hurry?

Actually when I found my spitfire missing the pilot - I spoke with the manager who stated the most he could do was take off $10 (store policy)
Walton 45:12-14b

I told him earlier the week one of the floor managers gave me a broken PZIV RC for $7.00 when it was orig 49

He kida stared and then asked is this for your kid?

I said yes (and it is hanging in his room)
so i got it for $19.99 - the pilot was under the packaging btw
