I think that the S2 scheme should hit sometime this month (october). I am still looking for the S1 in neck of the woods

I think I have spent more in gas than the 40.00 it costs from the store!

I will admit that when they first showed it, I did not like the Chinese scheme. But, the more I see it, along with how much I like the MiG-15, I will pick it up - if it ever shows up in the area.

"I think I have spent more in gas than the 40.00 it costs from the store!"

Yes, it almost makes the ones on ebay seem reasonable! :D

And sarge, let's see. $5 for the mig and $10 for shipping = $15. Count me in! :D

If I could find a Sabre I would gladly trade you for a Mig. Unfortunatley, the WM's in my area have yet to receive the Avenger, not to mention the Sabre or Mig! (Thank goodness for great people here hooking me up! Thanks again Andy! :D )

How about I make you a cash offer you can't refuse for one of your Migs? [music from The Godfather plays in the background] PM me if you might be interested.

Thanks!

MiGs in Arkansas

Post by Gunner » Tue Oct 03, 2006 6:21 pm

Found four Silver MiGs at a Super Wal-Mart in Central Arkansas.

Not in the Toy Department, but on an end cap in the hardware/home improvement section.

I wouldn't have seen them at all, except that my wife and I took a detour around an isle that was full of people.

Very nice! Hope they sell well. Unfortunately, I'm out of space (as well as over budget right now)...

Any Sabre or Mig sightings in N.J., Pa. or N.Y. yet? I've found nothing new so far. No Migs, no Sabres, no Stukas, no P51s or Corsairs. NOTHING!

Mt. Airy Maryland WM has a good supply of P-51 Ridge Runners, Stukas, and Corsairs.

...and California. However, that first stray Mig did show up in my state first, just there have been no other reports yet

Why does stuff always wind up showing first in that midwest-south area of the US and then go nowhere else? It seems that when the Avengers showed up in California, they were across the nation within 2 weeks.

Finished my Monday recon and found 8 North Korean Mig 15s all lined up on a shelf!! I hope they move fast so that the WM distribution system can re-supply this WM with F-86 or the new Chinese Mig when they come out.

I'm sure there are a bunch of guys in this forum that will take them off your hands to make room for the F-86!

As I asked in another post, what's the difference between the different Migs (other than the paint job)? Are there any differences in the Sabres?

Found four 21c Mig-15s in the Chinese "Tiger Stripe" cammo at a Wal Mart in Fresno, Ca today. Has anyone else spotted this particular scheme yet? These are the first Migs (and actually new 1:18 aircraft) that I've found in my area. The scheme looks better in person and is quite striking, but I'm happy with my S1 "red nose" Mig not to warrant a second purchase. Faith for the stores in my area just jumped up a notch :D
