Lately everytime I see a Walmart 18 wheeler, I find myself wondering if there are 1:18 scale airplanes in the trailer. Sometimes when I am on the road, I kind of look for Walmart trucks. Do you guys do this? I guess this is WLD. or Walmart Lookout Disease.

Yeah, the thought crosses my mind from time to time when I see a WM truck. I often see them going into the stores in my area, and it makes me wonder what (if anything) they have in back thats not being stocked.

You're not alone brother.
Still trying to convince my wife to take the wheel while I make like Indiana Jones and leap onto the truck.

I'm pretty sure I'd end up as a spot of goo, in jail, or perhaps both..
You remember when the book mobile van would pull up to your school? I'd love to see 21st Century do some sort of road tour and hit various WM's with a fully loaded truck.

That truck would never make it across the state line Saberfan. Desperate individuals like myself would take that truck down at the border.

Lately my local Walmarts haven't had much of anything 1:18. Today I saw a clearence Avenger but it was all banged up and missing parts. I did get a Sdkfz 251/1, the only vehicle there. Lean times.

Although, sometimes they let me drive the Mamagram Van...
Sometimes I bring a box of candy along and it becomes the Candygram - Mamagram delivery Van!

I believe in our area the reading deal on wheels was called the RIFF trucks. Never actually boarded one, mum was too paranoid.

I remember the book mobile well. It had a cool wood grain paint scheme. I also remember the lady who worked in the book mobile. She would give you a certain amont of time to look around, then asked you to leave in not so nice a fashion. Ahhhhh, memories.........

That’s funny the other day I was driving south on I-29 and I must have seen 40 or more WM trucks and wondered the same thing, are there any Migs or F-86 in the back of those trucks. LOL

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!
