Got some good news!!!! I have some more figure pictures that are to be delivered on Monday! I want to give us something new to look forward to every single day this next week! SO from Monday to Sunday all next week AREA-21 will be posting a new 1:18 scale figure for each day of the week. For a total of 7 new figures all in a row!

Also that will give us more time to get the rest of the photos from 21st! Also we are trying to get the green light on a couple other items to talk about as well.

Get ready for new 1:18 troops! Coverage starts monday.

YES, GREAT NEWS, COULD USE A LIFT IN SPIRITS, BUT WHAT REALLY DO THE TRICK FOR ME, WOULD BE THE RELEASE OF JUST ONE OF THE 1/18 ARMOR PIECES NOW ITS OCTOBER IN AUSTRALIA, 4 MONTHS ON FROM THE FIRST NEWS IN JUNE. SURELY 21ST NEED THE CASH FLOW TO KEEP GOING & THE ONLY WAY IS TO RELEASE SOME PRODUCT TO TAP THE MONEY RESOURCE OF THE 1/18 COLLECTOR.

Yeah, it is a great avatar! Grunt1 should make it into a T-shirt for sale... The quote is especially true - I go in the Wal Mart, try to dodge the slack-jawed yokels, see what (if anything) is new in the XD section and get the heck out of there!

Now, to get back on topic...

TKO, tonight is the first one, right? You thinking the usual way late past when Grunt's in bed kinda time or the right after dinner kinda time? :-)

Oh and tman, those yokels are maddening.. They enter the store like they just got to their vacation home and are going to be spending some real "quality time" in the store. Highlight of the day I supose..

Guess I shouldn't talk though. Some folks would think you're crazy to hit 2 Walmarts in one day, much less 8....

Sounds like it's time for a poll! :P

I love how it says that we'll see them for the holiday season. YEAH RIGHT!!! out here in the Northeast we don't see figures for along time. I just recently started buying the BOB2 guys. Of course still no Avengers.
still not in Walmarts system. I guess I can dream.

They look great. I'm glad to see the 82nd represented though I'd rather see their slot filled with something else besides more paratroopers.

Edit: I missed the release period on the area 21 page. Doh!

Pretty sharp figure and looks really "generic" for good army building. I love the inclusion of the coat too... Mixes him in well with other operations ala BotB and such. Count me in for a number of this one.

Good work to 21st, they're really putting out some high quality stuff. Love the new headsculpts too. I love that they're neutral, non-expression faces... Far superior to the slackjawed Marines and such.

Just checked out the new fig. Very nice but odd they claim the he is a captain but I thought I saw sergeant stripes on one of those set of arms. OOPS my bad corporal stripes not sergeant.

They tried Corporal/Captain - but that had mixed results.
(They didn't like it in the Officer's Club)
