Pavehawk question...

Post by mwanz » Wed Dec 22, 2004 9:35 am

Those of you with a 1:18 BBI PAvehawk...

What is included with the item. The specs say 2 7.62 MG's. Can you specify?

Thanks!

MW

I asked the same thing a couple of months ago. I'm still wondering where those alleged guns are....

I bought the pavehawk some time back and everything in the box is exactly the same except the paint job. No guns

Thanks for the report. As I suspected....This pisses me off not only because bbi is shamelessly lying about it's product to prompt people to buy a repaint, but also because ALL THE RETAILERS DESCRIBE THE BIRD AS HAVING GUNS. They need to change the description on their sites because that's BS

Pavehawk question...

I'm no helo expert, but I believe the Pavehawk also has a huge refuelling probe jutting from the starboard side of the nose. I've never seen a picture of a Pavehawk without that unique characteristic, and I didn't see one on the pictures of the BBI version. That was a deal-breaker for me! BBI better realize they're not dealing with morons! :x

I believe 21st has done the same thing with their new Shark Mouth "Easy Rider" Huey. The auctions on eBay and others are describing the helo as coming with a pilot and two soldiers. In fact, all it has is the pilot. The slick came with crew but not this one. I contacted a good seller and he was told on presales that a crew also came with this one. Looks like another example of bait and switch from 21st too.
