I am not a good customizer, but I purchased 4 LAVs from TRU and found a cool website with all of the variations:

I was wondering if anyone has tried to customize them. The LAV is a very cool toy and was on sale for $15 so it would be a cheap custom to make. I dont know how you would be able to make a 105mm gun for the MGS version
has anyone tried to convert the BBI LAV to a stryker?
Yes
Tderespino has that exact project in progress (last we saw). I agree that this is a great piece to pick up and customize for 15 bucks. The base is there, it just needs a lot of work. My brother actually did one with spray cans that doesn't look too bad for a rookie....

You may like this site. The MGS does look like a fun build.
