bbi figs.
Yup. If you drop one in boiling water (or super hot microwave water ) for less than a minute you will be able to swap legs (different than the T hip piece which comes out of the waist - if you don't want to take the legs off just pinch them together at the hip when you pluck out the waist), arms, head, boots and even hands. I gave one of my 101st paras gloves from the chuted versions, and another the medic arms with the patch from the chuted version. And swapping the belts and heads become a breeze, even plucking off the chest holster if you care to.

Just a note on the Pola/Piko style G scale buildings. The deals that can be had on Ebay are relative. They may sell for notably less than retail, but they still can be pricey. You might expect to pay in the neighborhood of $50 for a decent sized building (small sized station or house). More obviously for the larger structures. There seem to be more train nuts than there are XD nuts(quite a bit of competition), but sometimes you get lucky.
That being said, they're well worth the investment.
Another name to search for is Model Power. Their buildings are also made by Pola. LGB makes some nice bridges too.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

That is a major understatement. I b!tch about how much I spend on an XD plane, but don't think twice about blowing that much on one railcar. And think, when was the last time you saw a train with one car?flpickupman wrote:There seem to be more train nuts than there are XD nuts(quite a bit of competition), but sometimes you get lucky.
In comparing prices of G-scale buildings and eBay, check out either St. Aubin Station (lgbpola.com) or Trainworld. Often, they will have the same prices as "deals" on eBay.
As for most wanted, give me some civilian figures! Not only for the obvious, but how many modern fighters do you see in civis?

Same here I can spend $250 on a diecast 1/18 car or truck, so $70 for a big turkey is a no brainer. That is a major understatement. Okay, here's one. Can we get some K-9 handlers? How about a series with that? Here's a lineup
WWII US Pacific (any breed, since the military changed the rules after that)
German
Vietnam
Modern
I know when I would buy GI Joe 12in K-9 handlers, those always disappeared the fastest, and I'm seeing it repeated with the McFarlane one. 21C already did Patton, why not let the grunts have their poochies?
