I know what was once "Black 12" is also known as "Blue 12" - anyone got any ideas on this one? Anyone with the plane want to give some details about the paint scheme? Thanks,

Okay! that makes more sense now! That was the other scheme I was thinking about. I thought I remembered someone doing some recon photos of this scheme at a model kit show or somthing like that? This is the scheme I am most excited to see.

Thanks for the info Ski! I searched the web last night but wasnt sure
which "12" it was. I'm looking forward to see how this paint scheme turned out. I saw some beautiful models put together during my search.
Someone please post a pic when you find it.

I found the "black 12" and also the "BlackChevron" for $15.00 at the WalMart in Lilburn ,Georgia. Is the "blackChevron" a new paint scheme or has this been out for a while?

They were in the 21C box. Have also found them at the Peru and Ottawa, Illinois Walmarts.

Its been out at Wal Mart since at least August and at the small retailers since September. The "Red 3" variant was the first to be released in late June. My personal favorite is the "Black Cheveron" variant.

If some of you have found the FW-190 "Blue 12" version, could you send or post pics. Ive seen the profile but curious to see how it actually looks
in or out of the box.
Thanks!

I threw some quick pics of Blue/Black 12 on webshots. Hit the website button below. I know the profile says Blue 12 but it sure looks like Black 12 to me. My battery ran out on the camera so some pics have flash and some don't. Enjoy

Sure looks like "Black 12" to me also.. S that would mean that 21st changed from the prototype.. That's okay, I'd get it anyways..

Not a bad looking plane! I think I still prefer the White 1 (Black Cheveron) variant, but this one still looks awesome with its rough, late-war paintjob.

What box is it in? I heard that some of the planes found at WM have the 21st C blue boxes. If it is the blue box, can someone post a sku # for it? Thanks

I answered one of my own questions. I guess I should read all the posts before I post a question. Would still be interested the the sku # though. Thanks
