Anyone here deal with Echo Base Toys?

Post by ParatrooperCarbine » Tue Jul 18, 2006 11:10 am

Hey everyone. Has anyone here dealt with Echo Base Toys in Temple City, CA?

I purchased several items from one of their employees on eBay and haven't been able to reach him despite leaving messages and sending several emails.

Please email me at [email protected].

I have bought from Echo Base before in several ocassions of their official web site and they have always delivered their products in a proper manner, and among the 1/6 community they are a really good source to buy from.

Ebay has been having a problem with one of its mail servers. For the past couple of weeks some messages sent thru Ebay have not been received at the other end. It does show up in the 'my messages' section of 'my ebay' but most people never think to look there.

I don't know what the probem is but it's either that the email is just not being sent or it could be inproperly formatted and getting caught by spam filters at the incoming server level.

Whichever, i would email them directly, circumventing Ebay altogether.

Hey ParatrooperCarbine,
I live about 1 hour away from their store and I always visit their booth when they are at cons. They have a good reputation here in SoCal but I don't know about their online stuff. Keep in mind, they are also at Comic Con so maybe that might be why it is taking them a little longer to respond to you. But it would be nice of them to say that on their site. I know some online vendors post a banner saying "we will be at so and so show so orders might be a little late" or something to that affect.

Good luck
It is the dang toy companies that have sometimes made me want to stop collecting toys!!!

ParatrooperCarbine,
EBT are SUPER EXCELLENT guys! One of the BEST dealers in the hobby. If they haven't gotten back to you, it's eBay or because they are at Comic Con. They are 100% honest. Try calling or e-mailing them Monday or Tuesday and they'll take care of you.

Here's their web site: www.echobasetoys.com

And could you please post the sellers list?
God Bless America.
