Who knows when the damn thing will be released but you have to admire the detail on that sucker. The cockpit looks awesome and the pilot is by far the best yet imo. Hopefully any and all new figures will be on par with that guy...the helmet alone is awesome.

I like how they got the front nose gear doors set in the correct position. This is going to be a great looking model.

After looking a little closer to the pics I noticed one thing... The paint looks like it is in Tampo! It really has that fresh from the factory paint look to it!

Worst case is that we are looking at a paint production sample. Although 21st has not commented on an ETA yet, after looking close at these pics I am thinking that we may be just around the corner on the F-86. Just my guess.

I am going to place bets on Late August based on these photos today.

TKO211,

I think it is a paint master. If you look at the two different photos of the guns you will notice that one has the lines going to the back of the guns painted and not on the other. This model was being painted as they were taking photos! :)

But I must say I cannot wait for this airplane to come out. The detail in the cockpit alone is amazing!!! Hopefully we will not have to wait forever.

You were right about the open gun bays. I didn't notice at first the difference.

But the one thing that really has me thinking we might be seeing a paint production sample from china is the stencils. That is usually a last step process. I have heard Roy say that to me before.

I wonder if Roy added the paint in the gun bays himself as a final edit back to China?

One thing is for sure though. that plane is in plastic and it is wearing some level of factory paint. 21st also likes to keep ETA's closer to the vest now. So I think I smell an F-86 MiG-15 release soon! I am going to do some deep digging this week perhaps I hone in on an ETA for us?
