Romans are online only I believe, except maybe your local hobby shop.

You can get the Zero here for $33 - even after shipping you beat TRU:

WOW - they look like little McFarlane guys with minimal articulation and maximum detail!! I was going to say they had to be bigger than 1/18 but the last pic sold me that they are small.

EDIT - it does say Elite Force on the case :D But is it just me or do they have different articulation? Man they look sick...

I have to agree Digger the articulation does look a bit different but have been studying the second pic and you can see the bolt in the Knee still am not sure about the arms. They do look VERY nice if they are 1:18 its a shame we only have closeups of three of them as from the last pic there are 6 :) but none of them look like the ones we have seen on action figures so might be even more out there to come :)

the one to the right of the sniper here looks like he has the same pack as the guy in the second pic (who seems to be carrying the saw from the night stalker) might be wrong http://photos.figures.com/photo/1/showp ... 3437though.

I need a new monitor in the worst way! In the 1st pic you posted, the guy on the right has an elbow joint, right? Even minimal articulation would be fine with how good these guys look..

With all the people at the show I'm saddened at the poor recon - I would think the Joe boards would be all over these..

Awesome looking figures!!! The elbows don't look like they have articulation to them, but it is hard to tell. I hope these are 1/18, they definitely would be a very wanted addition to the (and my) modern line of figures.

:D :D

Go Ugly Early in 1/18 scale!

Still waiting and wishing for a 1/18 A-10 Warthog.

i think they're 6 inch figures. In the last picture the figures below them are 12 inch and the smaller ones are about half the height. Nice looking sculpts though..

Well I`ve been studing those photos & they are Indeed Really Nicely detailed BUT I truely hope these ARE 6" figures.

If they did these at 1/18th it`s a step backwards in the limited - Static figures approach.

Either way I do like the look of them.

If these are 6",lets hope we see 1/18th versions of these guys too. I really like the SpecOps KPot the Woodland guy is wearing :D

I got two of the zeros from BBTS and after shipping, still paid 5 bucks less than I would have at TRUS. Thanks for the heads up!

I love this board. :D

I haven't been in a TRU for a while (grandkids birthdays seem to be clumped together in the summer/fall months) but yesterday, there were no less than 6 "Old Crow" Mustangs and one "Killer" version on the shelf.

Is it just me or did the manufacturers stumble in the market for Naval aviation?

One factor is the theatre - ETO is by far more popular than PTO. Also, folding wings are a headache. BBI hinted the Hellcat might come after the Avenger - if that is the case you may not see their Hellcat for while... :?

A TRU in my area had the BBI US Marine figures marked down to $2.98 :D

These are the ones that came out last year, with the digital cammo and old articulation. I would get more, but I have plenty of those figures already and just can't justify a purchase after seeing the new BBI modern troops.

Several TRU in my area are clearing out the black Kiowas at $16. Pretty fast clearance for an item that just recently came out.

Kiowa Update: Pleasanton TRU has them priced now at $7.98.

Same store also has 2-3 Old Crow's and Checkerboard F4Us ($39/ea.).

Stumbled across 3 Kiowas that had been marked $9.98 and rung up (to my suprise as I would have been happy paying the sticker price) at $5.98, so needless to say I'll be hitting several TRU's tomorrow afternoon.

Happy Hunting

Figured we should heat this thread up for Comic Con, SO:

Did anyone notice in the BCA newsletter the reference to 3 new birds coming in Oct., November & January from "other" 1:18 manufacturers? Perhaps we will see an exclusive scheme F-16 or maybe even something all new. :P Fall is bbi AC season... This thing with the Avenger is the best thing to happen to us in a long time! Here is the relevant quote:

"the vacuum left by this event [Avengers going to WM] rippled quickly throughout the industry. Within hours, we were contacted by the other, 1:18 manufacturing powers and secured exclusive production agreements for three new aircraft that were either backburnered or in initial development. With the 'Cats weight behind the production of the new birds, things are rolling now. We can't disclose the new planes yet but are scheduled to receive these in October, November and January, respectively."

New birds as in all new tooling/new molds? Or new paint schemes?
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle
