You buy it and you can put it in my pool. You can come over whenever you want. SI isn't that far for you.

Of course you won't sail far in my 30' pool. It says 2 person. What does the second guy do, fire the guns?

Fantastic.... and I thought 1:6 toys and dollies were big.

All you need now are some fireworks to fire from the ship!

At the Veteran's Day Parade here in Tustin, they had the 1/24 scale USS Nevada that was used in Tora Tora Tora. Man that thing was MASSIVE.

Centone:

The Gowanus is almost all cleaned up, entire area is fulling up with yuppies. Makes you sick.

You need something shallow, like Central Park Lake, in case the worse happens, something like Ranger's PBR showing up. Or a couple of Brit cruisers like what happened to the real Graf Spee. Pocket battleships rule.........most of the time.

Regards, and by the way I still have your 1:6 Command Car. I've picked up another and I'm waiting for a chance to turn one of them into a WC-52. Did you finish the 1:18 Jadpanther? What I saw was really nice.

Man I would love one of those things! However, perhaps I should make my own approx. 1:18 Esses or Yorktown class aircraft carrier. One of those would look awesome with a bunch of 21st Corsairs (and eventually Avengers - I can only speculate on a Hellcat)! Too bad there isn't the time or money to pursue such a crazy project. I like how the builder of that battleship made it into a boat he could pilot in a lake.

Back in my recruiter days a friend of mine made the Enterprise CVN-65, not sure of the scale but he built it around a VW Bug chassis and drove it in parades. It was around 30ft long as well. The Navy was impressed as it made the front cover of Navy Recruiter magazine and also the Navy Times. When he retired they wanted it donated to them, didn't want to pay for it, wanted it scott free. Never found out what he ended up doing with it.
