Question on Market Garden figure?

Post by toyktdlgh » Thu Mar 09, 2006 5:30 pm

Does anyone know what the ankle hole on Corporal Hilarie is for? He’s the guy with the tilt able head.

I think it's a manufacturing defect. You would think,...that with some of these holes,..for gear,..that they were just casualties,.. more than anything else.

On the original US paratrooper (walkie talkie and binocs) that Hilarie comes from: the figure has a place on the side of each leg for a knife and brown flask. But not a hole in the side of his boot.
So, MG-42 may have something with the MFG defect.
Or 21st Century could have wanted a new item and just didn't get it together before the figure went into production.
Or it could have been those darn aliens riding in back of the Avenger...
