1/18 Curtiss Jenny

Post by aferguson » Mon Apr 21, 2025 2:38 pm

This model is by Old Modern Handicrafts and is made of metal and wood. Looks to be a decent replica if a bit crude perhaps and is pretty close to the 1/18 scale claimed by the maker.

A little odd that it has British roundels on it instead US roundels, either post WWI style or those carried during WWI. The British did use some Jennys for conversion trainers as did the Canadians during the war but they were different variants than this, which is the D model of the Jenny and the most numerous.

Anyway, putting it out there for anyone interested. Comments very welcomed on this. Can be found for a lot less than the price in the Amz listing, it was just convenient to post and show pics and had a few, favourbale, reviews.
