1:18 - 1:16 Store and new item feedback
Hey gang,
I am working on having an actual online store but would like some feedback first before I pay for the shopping cart software and turn the store on:
- Right now I have the Shapeways store under the Shapeways button, and the items I manufacture myself under the Store button. Two stores is not ideal but it was the best I could figure out. Anyone have a suggestion how to integrate them better, or is this even an issue?
- Everything you see is available both in 1:18 and 1:16. Is it clear that you can choose the scale from the drop down?
- I've tried to improve the photo quality overall but it's been challenging given how small some of the items and details to capture well. Are these photos good enough for someone to order with confidence?
- Should the items be displayed alone or in a dio, being held by a figure, or ?

Oh and the items are real so if you see something you want, you can PM me here and I'll get it to you.

I think nice diorama pics with your products would be helpfull for selling. If you are able to do the Schwimmwagen please let me know. I would like to take 2 german scout bicycles on top.

I like the Tiger I air filters, just wish I'd seen them a few months ago Grunt .
The items in the photos look fine, clear and large enough pics. I agree with Crazy Kraut
regarding the diorama pics, it just depends on how much time you have... you
do have plenty of items.

Maybe find some people who have taken diorama pics with your items and ask them if you can use the pics in your store

Great site. Very clean and easy to navigate.
Who did use to host the site? I was looking at WIX. I despise selling things on Ebay, but it's the only way to reach the masses.

I love the way this all looks. It is all easy to navigate and very clear to see all of your great products. I am sure that this will do nothing but increase your online business. I wish you all the best with this.

Grunt,
Mind if I share the link to some of the groups I'm in to possibly send some business your way?

Thank you, this was the kind of feedback I was looking for.
- Winterstar, go ahead. Just note that the payment portion of the site isn't turned on yet so they will have to message me for an invoice. I plan to have it turned on shortly.
- PG, I use Wix.
- Normandy, I know right.. :-/
- Kraut, May should give me enough time to do it!
