Hey gang, I was so worried about my Hind that I flew down to New Orleans to check in on it personally!
Just kidding, I was there doing some research at the National WWII museum and had the honor and privilege of meeting the actual Mr. and Mrs. Picklehaube in person. They treated me to a excellent shrimp dinner and I got to hold a hind in my own hands.
This thing is a beast! Both in size, scale and sheer part quantity. I believe it would be fair to say it’s the most extensive 1:18 scale production done so far outside of those multi-thousand dollar eastern European wizards.
Pickle was kind enough to let me take a few photos of the Hind factory. Pickle's shop reminded me of the photos you occasionally see posted of a WWII factory production line.
Pickle said it was ok to post there pics so here you go!
