1/18th British WWII (No photos yet)

Post by steelbonnet » Thu Jan 12, 2006 4:53 am

Hey all,

Right then I`m in the process of making a few Brit`s.
I`m doing a few Airborne,Inf & RM Commandos.

I`m using a variety of brand figure parts to make them & trying to keep close to the real thing too.

The soup bowl helmet that we wore I`ve made a few of those in milliput & were not that hard to make :D

Weapon wise i have the Thompson of course & thank`s to still having some old Palitoy Action Force stuff,I`ve got some Sten guns too (needed modding).

I was wondering though, has anyone tried there hand at a .303 rifle yet?
As i`d certainly like to have some of these & well if someone`s done them already saves me doing them :D

I`m thinking for the Bren to get the Japanese light machine Gunner & modding his to look more like the Bren.

Anyway hope you can help with any advice & guys. Anyone who HAS done some 1/18th WWII Brit`s please post them here :D

I`d love to see them & no doubt most of the other guys here too :D

I`ll have some photos up rather soon :D

ja

Thank`s centone :D

As for using the Modern BBI berets. Yes I have on a couple though the thing is the US beret is styled differently to how we Brits style the beret.

Though I have reworked several to look more inline to the british style of wearing a beret :D

Love to see your customized Para jeep mate :D Please post or pm photos :D
